KentuckyCare in the Community
As a community health center, KentuckyCare is focused on contributing to the community, providing for your health, and ensuring your well-being.
Our largest community project is the KentuckyCare Shoe N 4 Kids, where we collect athletic shoes to give to a child in need so that they can get up, get out, and get moving.
KentuckyCare Shoe N 4 Kids 2016 & 2017 were a great success; we raised 1400 pairs of shoes for kids!
For 2018, our goal is 1000 pairs of new athletic shoes.
The KentuckyCare Shoe N 4 Kids runs from April 16th until June 15th.
Help us put smiles on children’s faces and encourage them to get up, get out and get moving by donating a new pari of athletic shoes. Join KentuckyCare and WPSD Local 6 in kick starting an active life with the gift of new athletic shoes for children in need.
Here’s How you can help:
Shop and donate shoes
Host a KentuckyCare Shoe N 4 Kids collection box in your office lobby
Optimize your campaign on your social media outlets
Encourage family, friends and coworkers to donate or contribute to the purchase of shoes.
Donated Shoes can be dropped off in KentuckyCare Shoe collection bins throughout the Purchase Region. Shoes will be distributed in July. For more information call KentuckyCare Shoe N 4 Kids at 270-744-5131
